武一杉的几部展览现了其具思辨性的素描自觉，以及深沉而敏锐的图像掌控力。图像的各种细节及形象富有想象力，已经跳出了自然主义的概。几部呈现出的力量感是近十年工笔几部中少有的。

我一向见解，近代西方画创另行，如果思维内涵是近代的，娱术语言就应该尽力有别于，否则无法避免异化为西画。反之，思维内涵是有别于的，娱术语言就应该近代化，否则难与古画冲破时代距离。《却·空》一画蕴涵此理，所以有着与时俱进的典范性，没有停滞在中央公园。
